TASS Presents: Navigating Through the Local Healthcare System

June 9, 12:30-1:30pm (Tuesday)

Confused about Medicare, care options, and out-of-pocket costs? You’re not alone! Trying to make sense of the healthcare system can feel overwhelming—especially when caring for yourself or a loved one. Join a panel of local health care experts from The Alliance for Senior Services of New Jersey (TASS) as they break down what services are covered under Medicare, what expenses are typically private pay, and how to plan ahead to avoid unexpected costs. Participants will also learn about care planning, rehabilitation services, housing options, and trusted local resources. Learn how to access the right care, avoid costly surprises, and tap into trusted local resources. Walk away informed, empowered, and better prepared to make confident healthcare decisions for yourself or a loved one-without feeling like they have to do it alone.  A light lunch will be provided to those who register. This program is open to all adults. You do not need to be a Paramus Resident. Registration begins on May 12 via www.paramuslibrary.org.
