What a July we have had! America is 250 years old! The World Cup final was played right here in our backyard – East Rutherford! We even had a few tornado watches. Who would have thunk!? But July is not just about these special events; July is about barbeques, ice cream, beach days, and relaxing. Most importantly, July reminds us that happiness doesn’t have to be complicated. July is the month to get together with our aging loved ones and spend quality time. Talk about the good times while making new ones. While we should always enjoy the good times with our aging loved ones, we also need to know hard decisions could be in our future.
Whether it’s deciding which retirement community to choose or how to navigate Medicare or Medicaid, here at TASS, we have a wealth of knowledge in all areas of helping our aging loved ones navigate senior care questions – and would LOVE to share it with you!!
Please take a look at our website www.tassgroup.org to see if any of our TASS skilled professionals could have the answers you are looking for!
But without further ado, for our July 2026 newsletter, TASS is proud to share our member/business of the month, Bree Doyle from Piece of Cake Insurance Agency!!
Bree Doyle is the founder and owner of Piece of Cake Insurance Agency, an independent Medicare insurance agency dedicated to making Medicare simple, stress-free, and easy to understand.

Living Wills & Other Legal Documents
Join Kimberly Paton, Esq. as she explains the two key parts of a Living Will: an advance directive, which outlines your healthcare preferences, and a healthcare power of attorney, which appoints someone you

During this informative presentation, Kimberly Paton, Esq. will also discuss the different types
of Living Will forms—including hospital forms, attorney-prepared documents, and POLST
forms—and the important differences between them. You’ll learn about common misconceptions
surrounding Living Wills and discover that you have more choices than many people realize,
including the option to request all available life-sustaining treatment or to authorize your
healthcare agent to make decisions based on your circumstances.
A light lunch will be provided to those who register.
