 Dear Clients, Colleagues and Friends,April showers bring me flowers…And light snow on April 12th and an 82 degree day on April 19th. My oh my…April is one of the toughest months to get through as the weather has so many ups and down. What else has many ups and downs? Helping our loved ones with senior care and guidance. Sometimes we think we have all the answers and feel great about our research. Then sometimes without warning, we are thrown a curveball and don’t have the answers we are so desperately looking for. Here at TASS, we want to limit the amount of ups and downs people have as they navigate senior care. Whether it is aging in place or looking into an assisted living/memory care residence. There are so many good choices to make and unfortunately so many ‘not so good’ choices to make and TASS is here to help. We will guide you with expert information from one of our many senior care professionals about your own personal situation. This is what we love to do!!!! But without further ado, for our April 2025 newsletter, TASS is proud to share our member/business of the month, Trish Manzo of Zoom Concierge!!  Zoom Concierge was created to help seniors with everything they need to stay independent on their terms in their homes. Zoom concierge focuses on what is essential to the senior and being independent. We found that there wasn’t a service out there just for Seniors. We want to be the resource the family or senior can call upon when they want assistance with most aspects of their life. A team that can help seniors with medical appointments, assist them with buying groceries, errands, plan a day trip to visit the grandkids or just have a chat on the phone. I’ll never forget the time a client called me in a panic—her mother had been rushed to the hospital while she was away on a business trip. I immediately stepped in, visited the hospital, and sat with her mom to offer comfort and reassurance. I let her know that her daughter had sent me, and that she was thinking of her every moment. It meant so much to both of them — and that’s exactly why I do what I do.  Upcoming TASS Events Join The Alliance of Senior Services of New Jersey (TASS) as they host a panel discussion all about the needs and opportunities available for the senior community. This Wednesday April 23rd – 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM ‘Sharing your Story & Leaving a Legacy’ Bring a notebook, a sense of adventure and something to write with as this is an interactive program! Join The Alliance for Senior Services (TASS) as they talk about how to share your story while ensuring that you leave a legacy for your loved ones. They will empower you to find ways to make your story come to life. Today, there is an abundance of high-touch and high-tech ways to tell your story and this program will discuss these and other creative ways you can be more ‘present’ in our loved ones’ lives. The last part of the program will address the importance of legacy planning. We work so hard to build a legacy and it is important to have our wishes in writing, as well as to make sure our beneficiaries receive assets in the most tax-efficient way while staying financially secure.
